Built in 1925 as a Memorial Hall for those fallen in the First World War. The hall comprises of a large auditorium where films, plays can be shown and sports and club activities such as badminton, dance groups etc. can take place. The hall also houses a snooker room plus two meeting rooms on the lower ground floor. New Quay Community Library relocated to the Memorial Hall in October 2021, this is also on the lower ground floor.
The new organisation is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (New Quay Memorial Hall, Registered Charity Number 1179995) supported by a friends group, all of whom are staffed by volunteers from the local community.
Funding was obtained through a Welsh Government grant and work started in 2020 and completed by 2021.
